What People Are Saying

Attention diners for someone who work in the food world...i have such weird feeling for a new place But it was the freshnes of all the food you serving,Buffets have the tedious lack to detail in how the food is prepare. Well Zorro wins my heart and Love the gorditas that some lady is making from scratch. With two Fillings of your choice. The Jalapenos toreados with any meat of my choosing...they are not word to
describe the happines of my tummy.! In Mexico we have a saying:Panza llena corazon contento!! Full Tummy happy heart! Keep up with the great cooking. My mother loves your caldo...she says it tastes just like her mother used to made it for her...and to me that is impressive review!!!.

Look out Subway!  Zorro's has me!  An all you can eat buffet does not mean, eat it all!  I look at it as - a place of many choices.
I have changed my eating choices and Zorro's is the ideal place for me to eat,  and it is affordable.  The fresh vegetables, salads, and grilled selections have helped me lose 15 pounds in 2 months.  I eat there at least 3 times a week and the quality remains consistent.  Thank you Zorro's.

Being deeply depressed due to my swimming pool being closed on a day so warm I've got my windows open and the ceiling fan spinning, I went to Zorro's Buffet, again, for lunch.

Friday is Seafood Day at Zorro's. I've decided Seafood Day is my favorite Zorro's day. I didn't care for Thanksgiving at Zorro's. Mexican Day is okay. But Seafood Day is more than okay, as in I liked it as much as my first visit to Zorro's, which was also on Seafood Day.

One thing about Zorro's, that I like, is there are always new things. Today I had a really good spring greens salad that had apples and walnuts mixed in with bleu cheese. There was a couscous type salad. You don't see couscous in many mainstream buffets. The grilled shrimp were prawn-sized, tasted like they'd been grilled in butter with garlic. Speaking of butter. Despite being told twice by commenters that the yeast rolls were excellent, I'd not had one til today. They are homemade, like mom's, well, actually better than mom's. And mom's are darn good. The Zorro's yeast rolls are very light and very buttery.

Anyway, good pigout at Zorro's today.

I'm not an American buffet go-er. I think I've been to Goldern Corral once in my life and that was it. I was excited to go to Zorro's though simply because the experience is so foreign to me... Oh, and also because it is billed to be so massive!

The building itself is huge! Tables and booths in every direction. Everything is split in half for fast service. Two registers, two entrances, two exits, two soda fountains. Massive!

The ambiance was topped off with a corporate Christmas party/team building exercise and a kid doing repeated laps around the buffet with his pants around his ankles. (Go kid! Go!)

Each day has a special food feature in addition to their staples. We went on BBQ day. They served two kinds of ribs: beef and pork and they were awesome. They were tender falling off the bone with good flavor. The brisket on the other hand was so not tender yikes! I didn't even take a bite I could feel the lack of give when I tried to cut it.

To me the best thing about Zorro's is the wide assortment of really tasty veggies! In addition to a very large salad bar and salad assortment (e.g., potato, corn, carrot salads), they served carrots, mustard greens and more. See? This way you can put some veggies next to your meat and starch and not feel so bad!

I didn't think the desserts were that bad. I had bread pudding which I thought was really delicious and an adequate piece of chocolate cake. My dining companions had banana pudding and flan and found them to be lacking.

It's a very good deal for the money. I don't know if I'd go back just because as I said in my disclaimer, this really isn't my thing. However, don't let that stop you! Eat away, my friends.

Zorro's Fort Worth Location - what a great buffet!  Not only is the selection great - the quality is great.  My husband will never go to buffets and he even loves Zorro's.  Perfect place to go when everyone wants something different.  Once you go, you'll be back.

This is similar to a Golden Corral.  I think that's what the building used to be.  Only the food is better quality and all made from scratch.  Of course, the food is prepared in advance and sits a while so it's not like made-to-order, but if you choose judiciously, you can have a very nice, delicious plate of food.  I thought the salad bar was excellent, and I enjoyed the pot roast and beef ribs.  Desserts were their weak area.  Anyway, it was worth the $8 per person we paid.

i gotta go fo' (4) stars on this one. the food is fresh, and there is alot to choose from.. i was just about to get some of the grilled onions & whole jalapeno's (the tray was only 50% gone) and the server replaced the tray w/ a brand new one.. i was like "whoa!", they serve brewed sweet tea and have a very wide selection of food.. ribs, fried catfish, enchiladas, great hot veggies, they even had stuffed crab the day i was there. i say, "yo, check it".
